This is a beautiful and classy idea. I love the look of seashells, but I don’t want things I make to look too kid-like. I’m wondering what else you could put with the seashells to create a complimentary look. I have seen great seashell-based potpourri at World Market that might have some items in it that would do well.

Sea Shells can be very pretty decorations but they need to be used in the right places. For example, in a bathroom they can look great (around a mirror) or on the patio. I’m not sure they would look amazing in the master bedroom however Thanks for the article, I learned a lot!

That mirror is beautiful. Ive only ever pur beach type items in the bathroom but I bet that mirror looks striking in your hallway.
